Our president and owner, Joe Marshall, began his journey with English conservatories in the late 1990s. A native of North Carolina and an Eagle Scout, Joe holds a BS in Industrial Manufacturing and Business Administration from Appalachian State University. After finding the US furniture industry unfulfilling, Joe sought a more meaningful application of his education and skills. He started as an independent contractor, working alongside English craftsmen to build English conservatories. Through his experience with hundreds of new construction projects, Joe recognized an opportunity to create a business dedicated to preserving and maintaining these elegant structures and those he hadn't originally built.

"We bought our home 20 years ago and have enjoyed our Amdega Conservatory throughout all four seasons. We did not realize you should have minor preventative maintenance on an annual basis. When it came time for some needed repairs it became obvious, we needed major work. We searched extensively in our area for a qualified repair specialist and it became apparent very early on we could not find that qualified professional.
